Kremetart Waterhole Viewpoint, Kruger

Kremetart Waterhole Viewpoint is a viewpoint in Kruger National Park, on the H1-8, about 23 km from Punda Maria Gate.

About Kremetart Waterhole Viewpoint

Kremetart Waterhole Viewpoint lies in the far north of Kruger near Pafuri, in the dry bushveld around the Mazanje and Mashikhiri waterholes. The waterhole is named for the baobab tree (*kremetart* in Afrikaans), and the surrounding area is notable for its distinctive geological formations and rugged northern landscape. It is also a former borehole site, with the Kremetart borehole having been closed in 1996, so the waterhole should not be described as a dependable artificial water source.
