We’ve always loved the simple moments in the wild — early mornings, coffee in hand, heading out for a drive with no idea what the day might bring. For us, it’s never just about finding an animal; it’s about being out there together, watching, waiting, and sharing those little moments along the way. Cherise inspires me every day and has helped shape opspoor alongside me from the very beginning. It’s something we’re building together — our way of bringing people who love the wild as much as we do a little closer to it.
The problem we solve
I built opspoor because I was tired of hearing about the sighting after it was already over.
Too often, the best sighting of the day was the one I only heard about afterwards — a message in a group chat, a call over the radio, always a little too late to matter. opspoor turns a sighting into something everyone nearby can act on while it’s still happening, not a story you hear once it’s already over.
