About the Springbok
The springbok is a graceful antelope of southern and southwestern Africa, recognised by its reddish-brown back, white underparts, dark side stripe and distinctive white rump. It is particularly well adapted to dry environments and can survive for extended periods with limited access to drinking water by obtaining moisture from vegetation.
