About the Northern Black Korhaan
The northern black korhaan is a ground-dwelling bustard of open grassland and savanna in parts of southern Africa. It has cryptic brown and buff plumage, with males displaying more striking black-and-white markings. It feeds mainly on insects and other invertebrates, supplemented by seeds and plant material.
