About the Little Sparrowhawk

The little sparrowhawk is a small, agile African raptor found mainly in woodland, savanna and areas with scattered trees. It primarily preys on small birds but also takes rodents, lizards and insects. It is generally solitary or found in pairs and often hunts from concealed perches before making a rapid surprise attack.
