About the Rufous naped Lark
The rufous-naped lark is a medium-sized African lark found mainly in open grassland, savanna and lightly wooded habitats. It has cryptic brown and buff plumage, a reddish-brown nape and streaked upperparts that provide excellent camouflage against dry grass. It feeds mainly on seeds and insects, foraging on the ground.
