Veertiende Boorgat Viewpoint overlooks Veertiende Boorgat in the Auob River valley between Dertiende Boorgat and Dalkeith. The waterhole is the fourteenth in a series of boreholes sunk in 1908 for Union troops travelling through the region, and the surrounding open riverbed and camelthorn woodland provide productive habitat for springbok, gemsbok, ostrich and predators such as lions and cheetahs.
