About the Natal Multimammate Mouse
The Natal multimammate mouse is a small, widespread African rodent associated with grassland, savanna, woodland edges, cultivated areas and human-altered environments. It has soft brown to grey-brown upperparts, pale underparts and a relatively long tail.
