About the White bellied Korhaan
The white-bellied korhaan is a medium-sized ground-dwelling bustard of African grasslands, savanna and open woodland. It has a predominantly brown and buff upper body with a contrasting pale underside, while males display more striking black-and-white markings during courtship. It feeds mainly on insects and other invertebrates but also takes seeds and plant material. It usually walks through vegetation searching for food and is more often encountered singly or in pairs than in large groups.
