About the Common Dwarf Gecko
The common dwarf gecko is a tiny, mainly diurnal lizard found in southern and eastern Africa, often associated with trees, shrubs, rocky areas and human structures. It has a slender body, short limbs, a long tail and specialised toe pads that allow it to climb smooth surfaces. It feeds primarily on tiny insects and other small arthropods. Its small size and ability to remain motionless against bark, rocks and walls make it easy to overlook.
