About the Brown headed Parrot
The brown-headed parrot is a small African parrot associated mainly with coastal and lowland woodland, savanna and forest habitats. It has a green body, a distinctive brown head and a relatively short tail. It feeds primarily on seeds, fruit, flowers, buds and other plant material and may also take small amounts of animal food. It is usually encountered in pairs or small groups and spends much of its time moving through the canopy in search of food.
