Witgat Camping Site is the first overnight camp on the Nossob 4x4 Eco Trail, situated in the Kalahari duneveld near Kamqua. The unfenced campsite is deliberately basic, with a long-drop toilet and shower shelter, but its remote setting provides an exceptional wilderness experience; lions have also been recorded moving through the campsite and visiting the nearby waterhole.
